Scripture
Mark 16:17–18 (NKJV)
"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Reflection
When Jesus spoke these words, He made no distinction between those in "full-time ministry" and those serving in everyday life. He didn't limit His promise to preachers, evangelists, or those with large platforms.
He simply said, "those who believe."
This means His power is available to every believer, in every place, at every moment.
The writer at the keyboard, the administrator behind the scenes, the teacher in the classroom, the artist creating beauty, the parent guiding little hearts — each of these is a carrier of God's presence. Signs and wonders are not confined to the pulpit; they are meant to flow into boardrooms, offices, studios, kitchens, and classrooms.
When you show up in faith, God shows up with you. He desires to work through your hands, your words, your creativity, and your kindness. His healing can be released through a comforting email, a wise decision, a gentle correction, or a work of art that breaks through despair.
No believer is excluded. No assignment is too small or too ordinary. You are anointed for your sphere — and signs and wonders will follow you there.
Prayer
Father, thank You for including me in Your plan to reveal Your power on the earth. I believe Your promise that signs and wonders will follow me as I believe and step out in faith. Use me in my everyday tasks to bring healing, hope, and light to those around me. Let Your presence be felt through my words, my actions, and my life. In Jesus' name, amen.
Declaration
I am a believer, and signs and wonders follow me.
Wherever I go, God's power is present.
I bring healing, wisdom, and breakthrough into every place I am called.
I am anointed to make a difference in my sphere of influence.
In Jesus' name!
