Jeremiah 50:33-34
This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:
“The people of Israel and Judah have been wronged.
Their captors hold them and refuse to let them go.
But the one who redeems them is strong.
His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
He will defend them
and give them rest again in Israel.
But for the people of Babylon
there will be no rest!
~ Those days of oppression that you thought would never end, As you can
see, are now coming to a close. I know that you can look back and
remember the oppression that came over you like a thick cloud and
wouldn't release you, and I know how you praised my name for guarding
and protecting you.
I lost a few of my warriors due to this oppression when they went down a
path they misunderstood and thought was from me. Do not be concerned, I
am finding them and bringing them back to the right road.
~ ~ ~
I am sure you are aware of how easy it is to enter onto the wrong path
thinking it is the path that God wants you to walk. But it does not
take a few steps to realize God is not on this path. I love his
compassion toward us, And the patience He extends to us. Sometimes I
think we are more impatient with ourselves than our Heavenly Father is.
