Reflection
God gives us power in two distinct ways: the power that comes upon us and manifests through the gifts of the Spirit, and the power of the Holy Spirit within us to guide and teach us daily (1 John 2:27).
Do I believe the Lord anoints people for business and other areas beyond traditional ministry? Absolutely! That means not everyone is called to spend all their time focusing solely on healing or evangelism.
Like you, I see so many hurting people and long to make a massive difference in their lives. But many powerful testimonies — including those from Andrew Wommack's ministry — show that people receive healing as they personally take a stand on God's Word, often through teachings shared online or in books. Someone simply shares a link or a resource, and lives are transformed.
We don't have to feel like we are failing if we aren't going door to door or preaching on the street corner. (If God has called you to do that, do it boldly and joyfully!) But each of us has a unique assignment, and with that assignment comes an anointing to accomplish it.
Consider the artisans who built the temple: they were chosen and filled with God's Spirit to create beauty and carry out practical tasks (Exodus 31:2–5). In the same way, God anoints us for our specific callings — in business, art, teaching, intercession, administration, or any other field.
Today, there is so much division and noise. The enemy wants to distract us with chaos so we become ineffective in our true calling. Additionally, many self-proclaimed "experts" speak loudly without true knowledge, leading people astray.
I recently saw a book that claimed Jesus only came to heal our spirits, not our bodies. It was so persuasive it could have convinced even the most skeptical reader. These false teachings are dangerous and can harm or even destroy lives.
But here's the truth: we do have power. We can do our part — not by doing everything, but by doing what we are specifically called and anointed to do. Stay in your field. Trust God to place you where you will be most effective, and where your unique gifts will complement the Body of Christ.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the unique calling and anointing You have placed on my life. Help me to stay focused on my assignment and not be distracted by the expectations or noise around me. Give me discernment to recognize false teachings and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. May I work faithfully in my field and encourage others to do the same, so together we build up Your Body in love and unity. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Reflective Question
Are you trying to carry assignments that don't belong to you? What is one area today where you can release unnecessary burdens and refocus on your true calling?
