Reflection
There are places and circles — even some we think are safe — where the Lord is unable to fully accomplish His will.
Why? Because there are no "words" for His power to follow through on what He has promised.
As the Lord inhabits our praises, His Spirit inhabits His words. His words tear down and rebuild; they create and bring His will into existence on this earth. The world itself was framed by the power of His spoken word.
Corrie ten Boom once described it like this: we are the gloves, and He is the hand. His hand fills the glove; one cannot function without the other. But in many places — even in Christian churches and families — there are no gloves, no willing vessels for Him to work through.
Where there is no faith, there is no fruit. Many don't even think in terms of what God can do behind the scenes. Even if they tried to take hold of something spiritually, they would not fully grasp what it means to believe and to stand firm in faith until the promise manifests.
Logic often reigns supreme, but God defies human logic. Christians know this well. Miracles, signs, and wonders move heaven on earth to bring about God's perfect will. Seas part, dry ground appears, and paths are created where none existed before. These are not the works of human reasoning but of divine power.
When God tells you about a house, you don't start by reasoning through the finances and possibilities. You hear Him say, "That's the house," and you trust that He will work everything else out.
If He leads you to go back to school but you don't have the tuition, trust Him. He knows how to open doors and provide. If you stay awake in faith and patient in spirit, you will see Him make a way.
But beware: when you start doing everything in your own strength — working three jobs to pay tuition, striving endlessly in your own effort — it may take years to accomplish what God could do in a single semester if you simply believe.
I want to ask you today: make the decision to believe.
I know too many groups of people who call themselves Christians yet would never partner with the Lord to stand in faith for doors to open. Instead, they tear down the ways of the Kingdom by trying to apply lessons from the "good old boys' school" of self-effort and logic.
As the Lord says, "Do not harden your hearts." Choose to grow in believing. Exercise your faith so you can be an example, a glove ready for His hand. When you do, His will can be accomplished in and through your life.

Prayer
Lord, I choose today to believe. Help me to be a willing vessel — a glove ready for Your hand. Teach me to trust You beyond my own logic and effort. Strengthen my faith so I can stand and see Your promises come to pass. May I not harden my heart but stay tender and responsive to Your voice. Use me to accomplish Your perfect will on this earth. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Reflective Question
Where have you been relying on your own strength instead of trusting God? What step can you take today to become His glove — ready and willing to be filled and used?
