πŸ“Œ When You Want To Explain Yourself

πŸ“ŒWhen You Want to Explain Yourself

πŸ“– “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
— Exodus 14:14

Sometimes the hardest burden to carry isn’t injustice itself — it’s the weight of not being understood.

You want to explain.
You want to clear things up.
You want people to know your heart.

But often, the more you explain, the more tangled it becomes.

The enemy loves to bait sincere believers into endless conversations, hoping that your words will become your trap.

Jesus faced accusations too — serious ones — and yet, He stayed silent (Mark 15:5).

Not because He was weak.
Not because He had nothing to say.
But because His obedience was bigger than their approval.

Sometimes silence is an act of war.

Sometimes silence is your loudest obedience.

🧭 Reflect:
 • Am I feeling pressured to defend myself?
 • Is my peace being disturbed by my desire to be understood?
 • Have I trusted God with my vindication?

πŸ™ Prayer:

Lord, I trust You to be my Defender.  Give me the courage to rest in silence when You lead me there.
Break the fear of being misunderstood.
Let Your truth be my protection and Your timing be my vindication.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
