Christ's Wilderness

One of Christ's first sufferings was the desire to minister. His trial was being a carpenter. He dealt with people, but dealt without the power. He received his power when the Holy Spirit came upon him. So, as we begin to identify with his sufferings, we too will experience the overwhelming desire to be empowered by the ministry of the Holy Spirit to become the witnesses to the ends of the earth we are called to be.
You will note that Jesus submitted himself to his wilderness training without the anointing of the Holy Spirit to set captives free.
Luke 2:51
Then he returned with them to Nazareth and was obedient to them.
His mother treasured all these things in her heart.
