Dear prophet, 

Did you rejoice when you first heard the Lord's voice call you to speak for Him?  Did you think being His prophet would bring you a satisfaction your heart desired?  

Did you read or hear that the first joys of a prophet's call are soon cast aside under the burden of the revealing of His heart?  Did pain and grief overwhelm
you and cast your soul into what seems like a dismal dark valley?  

What can you do to climb out of this darkness?  

Do you really think the Lord will abandon you in the darkest valley?  He who has created you knows you best and understands the deepest needs of the human heart. If you will keep your eyes on Him, you will see the sun rise and break through the darkest clouds. Shake yourself and press on. The Morning Star comes quickly to your rescue. Watch and see what He will do for you today. Do not let the enemy steal your vision.
