There is Power In the Name of Jesus

There is power in the name of Jesus.

Have you ever watched a healing service?  I recorded a few and watched them frame by frame, looking for the power of Jesus that heals.  I do not know what I was looking for, perhaps some kind of mist or something, I don't know.

I would watch, rewind, and watch it again.  I would watch and wonder what the person was feeling as they were being healed.  They would tell of a heat sensation that would come upon their body, or of a slight breeze.  It was a quiet transformation happening to a human being who was bound by an illness or deformity, something that could not be seen, but that they could phyically feel.

The power that is in the Name of Jesus is a supernatural force that envades and takes over the yielded vessel.  Jesus said that His words are Spirit and Life.  I found this article on the web about a healing.  I pray you are blessed by it, and that your faith is increased in the powerful Name of Jesus.

MY WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE
We need to stop and meditate on this powerful scripture.  It can change your life forever!  God's Word is alive!  It is a living force that will bring life and victory to any circumstance we may face. The Lord Jesus stated:  "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

The Word of God is God's personal promise to you.  When ever we encounter any decisions or obstacles in life we need to find what the Word says for that situation.  When Jesus made this statement, My Words are spirit and they are life (John 6:63), He was teaching us to see His Promises through the eyes of faith.  The natural mind or the sense ruled mind cannot understand the things of the Spirit.  To simplify it.  God or His Word is not bound by the laws of the natural or sense ruled world.  The world was created by the Spoken Word of God (Genesis 1).  This world and the very existence of life was conceived by God in the spirit realm, then made manifested in the natural realm.  Jesus looked at them and said: With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

Do we limit the power of God's Word in our lives?

Many years ago, I was praying for a mother and her son.  The boy fell flat on his face and broke his two front teeth at the gum line. She wanted me to pray that the Lord Jesus would find a dentist who would take monthly payments.  As I started to pray, the Lord Jesus spoke to me and said "Don't limit me but pray for a creative miracle".  The next day two new teeth appeared in his gums.  We limit God by our lack of  knowledge of Him and His Word.  The Book of Ephesians states, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."  After the experience with the teeth, it changed my ministry completely.  I entered into a greater anointing for miracles and healing.  The Lord Jesus is glorified when he demonstrates the power of His Word in your life. In our Crusades He has confirmed His Word with many astounding miracles.  There was a six year old boy whose body was crippled and deformed. After prayer, his body became normal and he ran around the church healed and restored.  There was not a dry eye in the Church. There has been many deformed and disabled healed by the power of God's Word in the meetings.  New hearts and internal organs and eyes, terminal cancers have been healed and people receiving gold and silver fillings in their teeth.

Remember: Never limit God in your prayers!
