How do I know You Are Speaking the Truth?

How do you know that these examples placed here on these pages are true?  You know them because you are out looking for questions, just like I was when I was just beginning.  I needed someone to tell me that the force upon my back was not just me trying to make things up, or tell me that I was not losing my mind.

The bible says that those who worship the Lord must worship Him in spirit because He is spirit.  We in america are 'spirit-dumb' and run from those preconditioned mindsets that have been formed by tv shows, media, and other cultural inputs. 

We shrug our heads when other countries try to appease the evil spirits of their anncestors with sacrifice.  We take tours through their cultures and look down on their idols and call them arcaic.  It's our missionaries that can report to us that the power of God overcomes these demons and set the people free.  But, here, in our culture, we have our eyes closed and refuse to look.  

So, how do you know these reports are real?  Because as you are seeking to grow deeper into the Lord, you are finding out for yourself that things can get strange.  That is the way it was for me.  I was a fundamentalist who was baptized into the Holy Spirit and my life started changing.  I bought book after book that might answer some of my questions as to what was going on in me and around me.  I even had to write the people at the Brownsville Revival to find out what the 'anointing of God' was in real life, to the person experiencing it (Him).  Being a Baptist, prayer was quiet and spiritually uneventful.  As a Holy Spirit filled Baptist, prayer became a place of experiencing His presence in a tangible way. 

It is for that reason that I am creating these pages, just to let you know that you are not alone and that you are not weird.
